Questions and Concerns about Confidentiality in Witness Preparation

This session offers an opportunity to learn how to anticipate and respond to the issues that trial consultants can encounter as we seek to maintain confidentiality and work product protection in witness preparation sessions. We invite you to submit your questions in advance about the grey areas, the risk/benefit analysis of specific witness preparation procedures, and any other problems you have encountered, so we can all benefit from the experiences of our colleagues. 

Before the session those who plan to attend should review two documents that define the terms, concepts, and requirements that will be referred to in our discussion: 1)  Requirements and Recommendations for Protecting Confidentiality of Litigation Consultant’s Work and the 2) Professional Code for Witness Preparation.  Both are available on ASTC’s website
